Praise and Worship
Psalms 145:1-3, "I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless You, and I will praise your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable."
Praise and worship is one of the major components of all of our services. We desire to create an atmosphere of worship during our services that transcends into the everyday lives of those who worship Jesus. Our desire is that through praise and worship hearts would be open to receive the love of our savior and Lord, the great King. All through the Scriptures you can find where the Lord says that not only is it a good thing to give thanks, but that it is right! When we open up our hearts in adoration, we bring a sweet fragrant offering to the Lord. (Ephesians 5:2).
There are many demonstrations of worship. We lift our hands (Psalms 63:4). We shout to the Lord (Psalms 100:1). We are glad and joyful (Psalms 126:2, 45:15). We bow before Him (Psalms 5:7). We are still and quiet (Habakkuk 2:20). As we worship in spirit and in truth, we encourage everyone to worship in their own style that honors and brings glory to the Lord. This includes music with singing and instruments, artistic expression, dance, banners, flags, kneeling, shouting, stillness, raised hands, and clapping.
Above all, our one desire is that the Lord is lifted up. John 12:32 says, "If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto Me." When we join together in one heart, we can expect the Lord to meet us. So come and join us as we worship the King of Kings!
While we have one heart and one purpose, each praise and worship leader brings a unique style to the worship setting. Our Worship Leaders are:
